I haven't even decided if there are going to be rebuys since I can't figure out how to distribute the chips.
I have 500 chips that go as follows: 150xWhite, 150xRed, 100xGreen, 50xOrange, 50xBlack.
I guess for starters, I'd want to figure out what the total of the stack is.
My guess would be that each player would start with about 100BB, but I'm not sure.
One thing I am sure of is that I want home poker starting chips to have at least 20 white and red chips, to make people feel like they're not short stacked.
Blind valet keeps suggesting 10 home poker starting chips for the lowest valued color, and I feel like that is too little and will run out before the first level is even over.
Use the last chip as 5000 if you need to chip up near the end and run out of 1000 chips.
I would suggest a structure like this: Blinds 15 or 20 mins: 25 - 50 50 - 100 100 - 200 150 - 300 chip up get rid of 25 denom + a break 200 - 400 250 - 500 300 - 600 400 - 800 chip up get rid of 50 denom + a break 500 - 1k 600 - 1.
